Intuitive Counselling
What is Intuition?
We often talk about following our intuition. What exactly is it? It’s our inner knowing, our connection to the truth and what feels right for us.
These inner feelings allow us to make the right decisions that resonate with what we truly need and want. It helps us to set boundaries that support our wellbeing and inspires us to connect to ourselves and others.
How often do we ignore our feelings and our instincts? Sometimes we listen and sometimes we don’t. We second guess ourselves. We can and start doubting the clues and feelings we are getting, which can lead to confusion. Our head takes over and we rationalise why we should do something, when our inner world is clearly saying something different.
We know what we need to do but stepping into change can be scary. It can be uncomfortable to take an honest look at ourselves and to recognise how we have been conditioned. It takes courage and can be painful to make changes that will empower us to be the best that we can.
For many years I felt there was something missing in my life. I had so many questions but so few answers. It made me feel unsettled and I wanted to find inner peace and to learn how to trust my intuition.
My path crossed with an inspirational woman, who I now consider a friend. She told me her story about finding a spiritual teacher by the name of Mata Yogananda Mahasaya Dharma. I was curious and took some steps to find out more. It was an interesting journey. The more I learnt the more I wanted to know.
In 2020 I completed a Diploma in Intuitive Counselling. Through my learning, I am able to provide others with tools to help them in their journeys of self-discovery. These tools are helpful in quietening the mind and help one to tune into one’s intuition.
