Why it works for your digestion

This salad is light yet satisfying, making it well suited to summer eating. Using a small number of fresh ingredients encourages simplicity and awareness around how food feels in the body. Bitter greens like rocket support digestive processes, while balanced protein and healthy fats help stabilise blood sugar and support sustained energy.

Grilling the courgette softens the fibres, which many people find easier to digest, and keeping flavours uncomplicated allows the body to focus on digestion rather than processing excess ingredients. Meals like this support reconnection by creating space to eat slowly, notice fullness cues and respond to what the body needs in that moment.
