Quick and easy stew for two

Cooking time: 8 hours in the crockpot on low
Ingredients
- 500g beef cheeks (Can double if needed)
- Roughly 500g of mushrooms
- 1 to 2 onions
- 4 chopped carrots
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- ½ tsp sallt
- 1 tsp cornstarch with a tbsp of cold water
- Total ¼ cup of liquid
Directions
Mix the salt, paprika, curry powder together and add in water to make the ¼ cup of liquid. Preheat the slow cooker. Use avocado or olive oil to coat the crock pot so that the meat doesn’t stick to the sides. Add in the onion and mushrooms with the meat on top and pour over 1/4 cup of liquid to coat the meat. Cover and cook on high for eight to ten hours (this will depend on your slow cooker). Turn meat regularly to prevent drying out. Can serve with brown rice, polenta, mash or cauliflower rice.
